I finally watched the deleted scenes from the Half-Blood Prince movie this evening. The consequence of which is that I have been a state of wowness for an awfully long time for a person of my age.

I saw the new Harry Potter movie this afternoon, hoping that it would at *least* be better than the last one (which I found well-nigh unwatchable).

I was absolutely impressed!

The screenwriter finally managed to grasp 1) that books and movies are different media, 2) how to capture the spirit of a story on film.
